Welcome to "A Wrap On The Wrist". My creative journey was initially inspired when I designed and handmade a chain maille bracelet that I subsequently found myself wearing nearly every day for over a year. Enthusiastic comments, as well as requests from friends and acquaintances to have me make them similar ones, gave me confidence in my new found passion and encouraged me to explore other creative endeavors as well. In short order, "A Wrap On The Wrist" was born!
To expand my horizons and enhance my technical skills I enrolled in courses at The Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Sarrat Art Studios (at Vanderbilt University), Watkins College of Art and studied with Linda Darty, author of "The Art of Enameling". My dear friend, Wendy Waldman, herself a truly gifted jewelry designer, generously shared with me her knowledge of "Torch Fire Enameling" techniques, enabling me to further expand my collection.
I strive to design simple, charming and alluring accessories to enhance your individual sense of style. It's my fervent desire that you derive as much happiness in wearing them as I've had from the process of making them.
Passionate about Animal Rights, I volunteer and donate a portion of all proceeds to organizations benefiting their welfare. Two of my favorites are People For Animals in Franklin, TN and Bonaparte's Retreat in Nashville, TN
Please enjoy my site and remember, to accessorize with something new and different, while supporting animal welfare, give a friend "A Wrap On The Wrist!"
Sincerely,
Marilyn Gross .
